Dear UB,

I remember a unique poker hand that once occurred while my friends and I were playing a 5-man sit and go with a 10 dollar buy-in. After some play, the short-stack at the table pushed all-in. After two players folded, a big stack pushed all-in over the top, making me fold.

The small stack flipped over pocket Jacks while the big stack showed pocket Aces. A standard big pair cracker by small pair story, right? Wrong! Seeing the short stacks' hands, two other players also showed their hands to the table, one had AJ, another J5. With the last two jacks dead, the short-stack was almost drawing dead- to a four card straight or flush. the flop came Q9 blank, the turn was the 10, and the small stack's prayers for an 8 or K was answered as a red 8 showed on the river. The small stack went on to win the sit and go, while the big stack needed a drink after that hand.
