What's next?
After the standard week off after Aruba for recovery it was time to decide how to finish off my year from a poker standpoint. I have been logging a ton of hours online over the past few weeks and decided to make the easy 6 hour drive to Reno this week to get some live action. The Peppermill has a week of tournaments with buy ins ranging from $100 -$1000. Some of my good friends are at this event so it seemed like a good fit. Another deciding factor is that the Peppermill always takes care of me, and my room is free for all 7 nights. So far I've played 3 tournaments with 0 cashes. Considering 2 of the 3 events were non holdem events I'm not that surprised. The upcoming weekend will have 4 straight no limit events.
After Reno I will probably head to Vegas for a week for the Venetian deep stack tournaments. I will probably only stay one week because I want to get home on November 8th and 15th for the last 2 Ducks home games. After that I am going to try to get up to Vancouver BC for the BC poker championships in late November. I've never been able to go to this tournament which is strange because it's a short flight and I love that area.
After that I plan on a lot of online and holiday family time. Snow is right around the corner and that means a little snowmobiling.
